Connecting Creatives Across Mediums

BAN has been awarded a residency through the West Town Pop-Up Project and will now expand to a physical location. See our updated hours and event calendar here.

Welcome to Black Artists Network! We are a space dedicated to expanding and fostering community for black creatives across all mediums. Our mission is to showcase the creative and intellectual contributions of black artists and to provide a space for them to connect and collaborate.

We believe that representation matters and that black artists deserve to have their voices heard and their work celebrated. Through our organization, we hope to create a space where black artists can share their work, receive support and feedback from their peers, and find opportunities to showcase their talent.

Whether you are a painter, musician, filmmaker, writer, or any other kind of creative, we welcome you to join our community and be a part of the conversation. Thank you for visiting and we look forward to seeing what you have to offer!

ELIZABETH CATLETT

"A work of art does not need revolution as its subject in order to be revolutionary. It will not create
authentic social change, but it can provoke thought and prepare us for change, even helping in its
achievement. For art can tell us what we do not see consciously, what we may not realize, and that there
are other ways of seeing things."

Black Artist Network is a digital space dedicated to the projects of various creatives and intellectuals across all mediums. We are committed to supporting and promoting the work of black artists, and our platform is designed to showcase their talents and facilitate collaboration.

Here, you can view recent projects by members and collaborators of our community. These projects span a wide range of mediums, including visual art, music, literature, film, and more. Our members and collaborators are constantly creating and sharing new and innovative work, and we are proud to highlight their contributions to the world of art and culture.
